Chappell Roan Is Coming To KC: Here’s Where to Eat, Drink & Party
Kansas City is about to turn pink. As Chappell Roan brings her tour to town Oct. 3 – 4, local bars, cafes and bakeries are rolling out themed menus, drag tributes and pre-show parties. Whether you’re dressing up for the Pink Pony Club, singing at karaoke or just looking for a glitter latte to snag on your way to the show, look no further than the list below.
Cookie Bliss KC (cookieblisskc.com)
The Northland-based Cookie Bliss KC is offering Chappell Roan sugar cookies available for pre-order through Wednesday and in-store Wednesday through Saturday.
Café Corazón (cafecorazonkc.com)
All three Café Corazón locations are celebrating Chappell Roan’s arrival with two limited-edition drinks: Pink Pony Lemonade (a blend of jicama, strawberry and pink glitter) and the Midwest Princess latte (featuring raspberry, hibiscus and a Latin sweetened condensed milk).
Anchor Island Coffee (anchorisland.com)
Five pink beverages themed after Roan will be available this weekend at Anchor Island, including: Femininomenon (a pomegranate horchata), Hot To Go (a house-brewed chai with cayenne and cinnamon) and Midwest Princess Punch (ice tea with strawberry and fresh hibiscus), for example.
Cafe Cà Phê (cafecaphe.com)
On Oct. 3 – 4, Cafe will be serving two specialty drinks, one of which debuts the cafe’s Thai tea cold foam.
Hot To Go: Matcha, oat milk, jasmine syrup, nectarine syrup and dried rose petal.
The Giver: Oat milk, ube syrup, cardamom syrup and Thai tea cold foam
Incline on 9th (inclineon9th.com)
On Thursday, Oct. 2, Stan Society and Switchback are hosting a pre‑party at the Incline’s West Bottoms location.
The event features a DJ set of Roan’s hits, drag performances, giveaways and plenty of dancing. 100% of proceeds from the event will benefit trans youth organizations. Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 8 pm.

Q Kansas City is going all out for Chappell Roan’s visit with a three-night Midwest Princess HQ takeover from Oct. 2 – 4. Each night features drag tributes, sing-alongs and costume contests with $1,000 in prizes.

Roan has long credited Missie B’s as one of her first drag show experiences so it’s only fitting that the bar is dropping its cover charge for people wearing pink this weekend, as well as hosting Pink Pony Parties on Friday and Saturday night.

Head to Boulevard’s Beer Hall before Chappell Roan’s Kansas City shows to pregame from 2 – 5 pm. The happy hour will feature Good Luck Babe! drink specials, Cherry Blossom Supernova Quirk cocktails, a Pink Pony Club photobooth and a glitter station to prepare for the concert.

The Fontaine Hotel is hosting a Midwest Princess Pre-Show soiree on its rooftop bar, Nine Zero One, on Oct. 3 with special cocktails, mocktails, drag performances and beauty stations.

On Oct. 4, Tommy’s is hosting The Pink Puppy Club Karaoke Party and Fundraiser which includes karaoke, an auction and can’t-miss raffle featuring items donated by local businesses. The event benefits the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City.
