Corvino Partners With W. VinZant Restaurant Group

After eight years of local and national acclaim, and multiple James Beard nominations, Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room is embarking on a new chapter.

Corvino owners Christina and Chef Michael Corvino have announced a new partnership with Kansas City-based hospitality group W. VinZant Restaurants.

“An over eight-year run for an independent, fine dining restaurant—through a pandemic, no less—is an incredible accomplishment that we’re extremely proud of,” said Chef Michael Corvino. “We’ve watched our employees grow into industry leaders, and now we’re ready to bring our next set of ideas to life. To do that, we need the right partner. Whitney [VinZant] brings the vision and operational expertise we’re looking for.”

Corvino Supper Club has consistently ranked among Kansas City’s top fine dining restaurants (1830 Walnut St., KCMO). The partnership marks a new phase of evolution for the restaurant, but also for W. VinZant’s restaurants. While Chef Corvino will continue to lead the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, he will also collaborate on culinary development across the W. VinZant restaurants, like Gram & Dun, BRGR Kitchen & Bar, and Taco Republic.

“Our partnership with Corvino will further our ability to satisfy the culinary wants of our guests,” Whitney VinZant says. “As I’ve come to know Michael and experience his talents, I see that we share the same ambitions. We want to define what restaurants can be—and that takes a partner who’s equally devoted.”

Corvino Supper Club remains open nightly at 5 pm, while the restaurant’s Songbird cocktail lounge is open Thursday through Sunday at the same hour. Reservations for Corvino can be made here.
