Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room Is Closing
Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room, one of Kansas City’s top fine dining restaurants, is closing.
The Crossroads restaurants, which has been in business for nearly nine years, made the announcement on social media. The post states that New Year’s Eve will be Corvino‘s final night of service. A letter, written by Christina Corvino and available through Corvino’s Instagram bio, gave a final statement.
“There were awards and accolades aplenty, but what we take with us is the friendships. With our staff, our regulars, and with you. Our greatest satisfaction came from giving you a night to remember,” the letter states. “However, as life goes the only thing to count on is change. We’re happy to close the doors to Corvino on our own accord, as a thoughtful decision on the completion of a beautiful chapter. We deeply hope you can make it in for one more night between now and New Year’s Eve.”
Michael and Christina Corvino opened their restaurant in 2017, and offered a regularly rotating fine dining menu, most notably featuring seaweed donuts with trout roe, pastas and fried chicken. We even dubbed them the number one restaurant in our 2022 Best KC Restaurants list, praising its live music and exceptional food.
The fine dining destination has adapted throughout the years, adding a cocktail lounge last year called Songbird, and announcing plans to partner with the W. Vincent hospitality group in August (although that deal fell through shortly after).
As for Corvino’s last night of service, reservations are $25 per person and include chef’s bites, live music and a midnight toast. Walk-ins are welcome at Songbird, which will also serve its full menu.
