Party Animals
One of the best fundraisers in town, paws down, is the Kansas City Zoo‘s annual food, drink and music extravaganza: Jazzoo! This year’s event proved no different. Despite light showers more than 1,000 people showed up to eat, drink and dance the night away at the after-hours zoo event.
The “creative black tie” is not only a fun night for everyone involved, but all proceeds go to zoo programs. It helps keep the zoo alive and thriving and has also proven to be a great way to keep the community actively involved and interested, say zoo officials.
