Pillow Talk: Ampersand Design Studios’ vivid decor

One quick way to add a pop of color to a space is with throw pillows. But the right pillows are important—they can determine the personality of a room. Carrie Kiefer and Morgan Georgie of Ampersand Design Studio (@ampersandstudio) make artwork and home decor that brighten a space with vivid colors and bold patterns.

They’ve launched a line of quirky pillows in vibrant colors and designs. If you’re looking to make a statement, there are word-print options like “Howdy,” “Mon Cherie,” or our favorite, “Let’s Stay Home.” You can also opt for a subtle design like a shuttlecock, sun, rainbow or yin and yang symbol. These pillows range in price from $35–$70 and are created in collaboration with Peking Handicraft.

They’re made of one hundred percent wool hook and cotton velvet with a polyester fill.
