Breakthrough Walk Attracts Thousands
Thousands came together to support the Type 1 Diabetes community at the Breakthrough T1D Walk today, Oct. 10, at the KC Current Stadium. Along with a fundraising walk along the river front, people enjoyed music, food and games.
Founded in 1970 by families whose loved ones had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, the Breakthrough organization works to advance diabetes treatments, influence health care policy and improve access to care.
